Miranda Lambert To Executive Produce New Drama Series For Hulu — See What We Know So Far
on Dec 23, 2025

Miranda Lambert is already a country music superstar, and now, she’s adding executive producer to her long list of talents.
It was recently revealed that she’s planning to use her music as the inspiration for an upcoming series, Deadline first shared. The untitled show is set to stream on Hulu.
The series, produced by Sony Pictures Television, will follow a woman who helps her friend escape an abusive marriage. They move to a small town in Texas to start over, but soon realize they can’t leave their past behind as easily as they hoped.
Judalina Neira will serve as the showrunner, writer, and executive producer as well on the series. Her past work includes the award-winning show Daisy Jones & The Six.

For fans of Lambert, you know how much of a perfect fit this project is for her. Over the years, she has released hit after hit centered on strong women and complicated relationships. Just a few include her songs “Kerosene” and “Gunpowder & Lead.”
She’s also no stranger to television. While this may be her first time stepping into a producing role, Lambert has been in front of the camera since early in her career. At just 19 years old, she got her big break on Nashville Star.
In 2012, the three-time Grammy winner also appeared on Law & Order: SVU as the character Lacey Ford.
Right now, details about Lambert’s new show are still being kept under wraps.
2026 Is Shaping Up To Be A Big Year For Lambert
Not only does she have a new TV series in the works, but Lambert also has plenty to look forward to as the new year approaches.
She is nominated for several awards at the 2026 Grammy Awards, including Best Contemporary Country Album for Postcards From Texas. She also earned a nod for Best Country Song, along with two nominations in the Best Country Duo or Group Performance category for her duet with Chris Stapleton and her collaboration with Reba McEntire and Lainey Wilson on “Trailblazer.”
On top of that, Lambert is set to be inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame, alongside George Strait.
As for her new show, there is no word yet on when it will premiere. It sounds like it will be well worth the wait, though!
