Morgan Wallen Has Done It Again

Country superstar Morgan Wallen has broken records once again!

The singer’s newly released album, I’m the Problemhad an incredibly successful opening weekend after its release on Friday (May 16).

Wallen drew in staggering numbers across major platforms, becoming the biggest country album of 2025 by Saturday’s streams.

Spotify announced the milestone, sharing that the country star became the most listened to on their streaming service in 2025 so far.

“Morgan Wallen just made country history—again,” Spotify wrote.

According to Billboard, the album also set a new first-day streaming high for country albums on Amazon Music. With 37 tracks, it claimed the title for the biggest country album of 2025 by first-day streams.

Wallen’s Previous Chart-Topping Records

Wallen made history earlier this year when five songs from his unreleased album reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a record previously only held by artists Taylor Swift and Post Malone.

“I’m The Problem,” “Smile,” Just In Case,” Lies Lies Lies,” and “Love Somebody” all reached the Top 10 prior to his release on May 16.

In June 2024, the Tennessee native officially became the singer with the most weeks at Number 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 for the entire decade, accomplishing 19 weeks at the top of the chart.

After taking home 11 awards at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, Wallen thanked his fans and everyone who has supported him on his journey to fame.

“I just wanted to say thank you guys for everyone who’s supported me along my journey and, as always, most importantly, thank you to my fans. You guys have just given me so much freedom to make music that I want to make,” the singer said.
