In a bizarre incident that left shoppers at a Bass Pro Shops just outside Birmingham, Alabama in utter disbelief, a 42-year-old man is now facing charges after a series of erratic actions.

Alabama Man Dives Naked In Bass Pro Shop Aquarium
The unusual sequence of events unfolded Thursday night when the individual crashed his car outside the popular outdoor retail store. Eyewitnesses were left astonished as the man, seemingly unfazed by the crash, proceeded to strip of his clothes. Completely nude, the man in question made his way over to execute a daring “cannonball” leap into a massive aquarium located within the store.
The Police Chief on duty at the time, Paul Irwin, said that the man had only been in the water for about five minutes before officers located the scene, according to AL.com.
Man Knocks Himself Unconscious
However, the spectacle did not end there, as the man emerged from the water to confront the officers once they arrived. After exchanging words with law enforcement officials, the man inexplicably dived back into the aquarium before exiting it again once more, this time falling to the ground due to knocking himself unconscious from the most recent dive.
According to police, the man has been in custody and taken to a hospital for mental health evaluations. The incident has since resulted in charges for the Alabama man, including public lewdness and disorderly conduct for his naked plunge, as well as resisting arrest when confronted by law enforcement.
