RFD-TV To Premiere Patriotic “Veterans Day Country Concert” Featuring Lee Greenwood, The Gatlin Brothers & More
on Nov 04, 2025

Premiering on Saturday (November 8), RFD-TV is hosting the Veterans Day Country Concert, a musical celebration of service, community, and country.
The star-studded event will feature performances by Lee Greenwood, The Bellamy Brothers, Larry, Steve & Rudy: The Gatlin Brothers, Exile, Johnny Lee, Eddy Raven, Marty Raybon (of Shenandoah), Larry Stewart (of Restless Heart), T. Graham Brown, Tim Rushlow (formerly of Little Texas), and Lisa Matassa.
The special is set to honor the courage and sacrifice of America’s service members and their families through timeless hits, heartfelt tributes, and patriotic collaborations.
“Country music has always stood shoulder-to-shoulder with America’s veterans,” Greenwood said. “It’s an honor to stand on this stage with dear friends and sing for the men and women who’ve worn the uniform.”
The telecast will take viewers on a journey through America’s roots, from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello estate in Virginia, where the ideals of liberty were penned, to Valley Forge in Pennsylvania, where General George Washington led a determined and unified Continental Army through hardship and sacrifice, securing the foundation of our nation’s freedom.
“We’re proud to present this powerful celebration of service, community, and country,” Jeremiah Davis, RFD-TV VP Programming said. “These artists and their songs are woven into the fabric of American life, and this concert is a thank-you to all who have served.”
The program is expected to blend timeless country classics with a journey through some of America’s most historic landmarks. At Fort Sumter in South Carolina, viewers are reminded of the heavy price of division and conflict and of the unity and freedom that ultimately emerged from the crucible of war.
At the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, the birthplace of flight, the daring vision of two inventive brothers comes to life. Their dream to “escape the surly bonds of Earth” captures the essence of American creativity and determination, proving that with courage and imagination, the sky is never the limit.
