Riley Green Struck By Fan In Australia

Country star Riley Green was struck on the side of the face by a phone thrown from the crowd during a concert in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday (March 14). Video posted to social media showed Green briefly paused his performance once he realized he was hit.

The incident occurred while he was performing at Margaret Court Arena. According to reports from attendees, a mobile phone was thrown from the audience and hit the singer near his ear while he was on stage. The impact caused a visible injury, with blood seen running down the side of his neck.

Security personnel at the venue reportedly identified and removed the individual responsible for throwing the phone.

Incidents of fans throwing objects at performers have become a growing concern at live events in recent years. Several artists across different music genres have spoken out against the dangerous trend, emphasizing that such actions can cause serious injuries to performers and crew members.

The country star is currently in Australia as part of his “Cowboy As It Gets Tour” and is set to travel to Sydney for his next performance. Despite getting hit, Green appeared determined to continue the performance and deliver the full set for fans in attendance.
