Streaker Disrupts Super Bowl LX

The fourth quarter of the otherwise quiet Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots on Sunday (February 8), took an unexpected turn when a shirtless spectator ran onto the field.

The intruder sprinted down the turf as at least five security guards chased him, with Patriots wide receiver Kyle Williams briefly joining the pursuit. The run ended near the 10-yard line, where the spectator slipped and fell, allowing security to catch up.

The individual was tackled, placed in handcuffs, and escorted off the field.

This isn’t the first time streakers have attempted to steal the spotlight during a Super Bowl game.

In 2024, at Super Bowl LVIII between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas, two shirtless fans ran onto the field in the third quarter and were quickly tackled by security before causing much disruption.

Just three years earlier, during Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium, a fan wearing a bright pink one-piece swimsuit ran onto the field in the fourth quarter and evaded a couple of guards before being tackled near the end zone. Radio broadcasters covered it, but the TV broadcast cut to commercial while security removed him.
