Taylor Sheridan,Yellowstone‘s Showrunner, Opens A Steak House In Las Vegas.

The Wynn Las Vegas is now featuring a new pop-up called Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse. Taylor Sheridan has long dreamed of owning his own restaurant. In a recent exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he shared that he had dreamed of owning a restaurant before ever dreaming of Hollywood.

“Operating restaurants that serve beef raised off my ranch has been a goal of mine from the beginning — I dreamed of doing this long before I dreamed of being an actor or storyteller. The menu is curated from the actual dishes off the chuck wagon at 6666 Ranch.”

The restaurant opened on September 16th and quickly gained popularity. A star-studded soft launch took place the Saturday before the grand opening, with guests that include Harrison Ford, Brandon Sklenar, Emerson Miller, Demi Moore, Rumer and Scout LaRue Willis, Jeremy Renner, Ben Foster, Andy Garcia, and daughter Alessandra, and Training Day director Antoine Fuqua.

The steakhouse pop-up takes two hours daily to set up when it takes over The Wynn Las Vegas’ incredibly popular breakfast restaurant, Tableau. With some movie magic, the space is completely transformed with new drapes, art, and cowboy-themed decor.

The Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse gets its name and its beef from the 6666 Ranch, which Sheridan just bought with a group of investors. Learn more about the famous ranch below.

What Is On The Menu?

The actor and Yellowstone creator has assembled a talented team for his show and his new restaurant. Executive Chef David Middleton collaborated with Christopher Lee, Wynn’s VP of culinary operations and restaurant development, to craft a delectable menu.

Sheridan had a say in the whole project, and when asked about his involvement, Middleton wrote:

“Taylor does have a cooking background, as a young, up-and-coming actor, he worked in restaurants in New York City. He [shared] his expectations and some of his signature ingredients or recipes for certain dishes given to us, and we worked through them.”

The menu offers a variety of steaks, including a 48-ounce Japanese Purebred Freedom Wagyu Tomahawk priced at $999. The menu also features “Taylor’s Cut – the inside skirt steak – is a lesser-known cut that many people don’t know about. It’s a relatively thin piece of meat, but it’s his favorite because of the full flavor,” Middleton says.

The restaurant sets itself apart with high-quality meat, the chef shared. “The cattle feed on the natural hay from the pastures where they’re raised — not corn or grain-fed. It’s all-natural. The beef is 100 percent purebred wagyu.”
