Todd Snider Injured In Violent Assault
Singer-songwriter Todd Snider has cancelled the remainder of his tour dates due to sustaining injuries from a “violent assault,” his team announced Monday (November 3).
“We are heartbroken to announced the cancellation of the High, Lonesome and Then Some 2025 Tour dates,” Snider’s social media post read. “Ahead of Todd Snider’s show in Salt Lake City, Todd sustained severe injuries as the victim of a violent assault outside of his hotel.”
Snider is an American singer-songwriter most well-known for blending a variety of musical styles including folk, rock, blues, alternative country, and funk into his songs.
He often combines storytelling with sharp humor, social commentary, and heartfelt observations about everyday life.
The 59-year-old kicked off a series of shows in support of his new album, High And Lonesome And Then Some, on Thursday (October 30) in Englewood, Colorado.
Snider’s team told fans that unfortunately, he will not be able to perform for an “undetermined amount of time,” while the singer receives medical treatment.
“We deeply apologize for the cancellation and any inconvenience it causes.”
Snider was expected to perform Monday in Phoenix, and continue his tour through California, Washington, Oregon, and wrapping up in Montana.
