In a statement posted to Twitter, Travis Tritt wrote that he was deleting all products from Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, from his tour rider. In a follow-up post, the singer claimed that he knows other artists who are doing the same, but aren’t speaking out due to fear of “being ridiculed and cancelled.”
Other artists who are deleting Anheuser-Busch products from their hospitality rider might not say so in public for fear of being ridiculed and cancelled. I have no such fear. https://t.co/YgjO9P03tR

The move is Tritt’s response to news that transgender TikTok star and social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney revealed that she is now a “#BudLightPartner.” The social media star shared that she recently celebrated “365 days of womanhood.” To help her celebrate, Bud Light sent her some swag including a Bud Light can with her face on it.
On Monday (April 3), Kid Rock posted a video of himself addressing the camera saying, “Grandpa is feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all you and be as clear and concise as possible.”
The musician then opened fire on cases of Bud Light stacked on a table. He concluded the video with a profanity-laden message for Anheuser-Busch. “Have a terrific day,” the said before the clip ended. STRONG LANGUAGE WARNING!

In 2021, Tritt announced that he was canceling concerts at any venue that require proof of COVID vaccination, mask mandates, or testing. He issued a statement at the time explaining his decision as “putting my money where my mouth is,” and called the mandates discriminatory.
“….any venue or promoter mandating masks, requiring vaccinations, or pushing COVID testing protocols on my fans will not be tolerated. Any show I have booked that discriminates against concert-goers by requiring proof of vaccination, a COVID test, or a mask is being canceled immediately,” Tritt stated. “Many people are taking a firm stand against these mandates around the country, and I wholeheartedly support that cause. I have been extremely vocal against mandates since the beginning. This is a sacrifice that I’m willing to make to stand up for the freedoms that generations of Americans have enjoyed for their entire lifetimes.”
