Donald Trump’s Latest Upgrades As 47th President Of The United States

Air Force One is set to get a new makeover!

This is just one of the latest upgrades set to take place under President Donald Trump. In July 2025, Trump announced plans for a new $200 million ballroom, marking the latest addition to the White House during his time in office.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt officially unveiled the proposal on July 31, announcing at the time a $200 million project to construct a 90,000 sq ft “State Ballroom” adjacent to the main White House building.

“We are proud to announce that the construction of the new White House ballroom will begin. For 150 years, presidents, administrations and White House staff have longed for a large event space on the White House complex that can hold substantially more guests than currently allowed,” Leavitt told reporters.

The new ballroom, which will accommodate roughly 650 guests, is intended to serve as a permanent venue for large-scale official events.

Just one month prior, Trump also installed two monumental 100-foot American flags, one each on the North and South Lawns of the White House.

“It is my Great Honor to announce that I will be putting up two beautiful Flag Poles on both sides of the White House, North and South Lawns,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account at the time. “It is a GIFT from me of something which was always missing from this magnificent place.”

The President said his personal funds were covering the installation expense, emphasizing the high-quality of the poles.

Air Force One To Get Brand New Look

The iconic jets that carry the President and top U.S. officials are now getting a new look. The Air Force One fleet, along with planes used by the First Lady and other senior officials, will soon feature gold, deep red, and navy blue.

The planes have been decorated in white-and-blue designs since the 1960s, when John F. Kennedy was president. The changes coincide with routine maintenance and upgrades, including a newly added Boeing 747‑8i donated by Qatar.

“We want power blue, not baby blue,” Trump told reporters in January. “Everything has its time and place. We’ll be changing the colors.”

According to the Associated Press, Boeing is modifying two 747-8 aircraft to replace the current fleet of 747-200 planes used by former President Donald Trump. These older planes adopt the Air Force One call sign whenever the President is on board.

The upgraded 747-8s will feature advanced communications, security systems, and the refreshed exterior paint scheme. The new aircraft will eventually take over official presidential transport duties, offering more modern capabilities than the decades-old 747-200s currently in service.

An Air Force statement, obtained by the AP, says a third 747-8i Boeing jet will be painted in the same colors. Air Force One is currently maintained and operated by the Presidential Airlift Group, part of the White House Military Office, according to the official White House website.
