Could there be a Florida Georgia Line reunion coming soon?

The CMA Awards took place in Nashville on Wednesday, November 19, and with so many country superstars in one place, there’s bound to be plenty of moments people talk about the next day.

One of the biggest came when fans noticed former Florida Georgia Line members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley standing together, posing for photos and talking.

Normally, that wouldn’t seem unusual, but for a longtime FGL fan, it was definitely a surprise. This was the first time they had been seen together publicly since the group split in 2022.

There’s been a lot of unspoken tension between Hubbard and Kelley over the years.

Many fans believe that their split had something to do with their political beliefs. During the 2020 election, both of them were very outspoken online about their stances. However, neither of them ever confirmed that their opposite views were what eventually drove a wedge between them.

In a 2024 interview on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast, Hubbard talked about their separation and said it mainly came down to Kelley wanting to focus on his own solo music.

Well, whatever the reason was for them parting ways, it looks like Hubbard and Kelley have made peace with each other.

Several photos taken during the CMA Awards showed them and their wives laughing together and having a good time.

Then, the next day, Hubbard shared a carousel of photos from the event that featured multiple photos of him and Kelley.

Needless to say, fans were ecstatic to see them reunite. Many fans left comments on Hubbard’s post, such as:

“This makes my heart so happy!”

“FGL FAN GIRL IN ME IS SCREAMING, I LOVE THIS”

“We’re all ready for the FGL come back”

“Please tell me the band is back together. We need our boys back!!!”

Has FGL Been Teasing A Comeback?

Is it possible that FGL has been hinting at a comeback for a while now? Some fans definitely think so.

Earlier this month, listeners noticed that a new project had quietly shown up in the band’s catalog. An EP titled Deep Cuts & Lost Tracks, Vol. 1, popped up on Apple Music and Spotify.

The collection includes variations of six songs from the duo:

  1. Country In My Soul
  2. Smile
  3. Beer:30
  4. Life is a Honeymoon
  5. Small Town
  6. What Are You Drinking About?

Neither Hubbard, Kelley, nor anyone of their teams has commented on the surprise upload, so there’s no real proof that it points to an FGL comeback.

We definitely hope so, though!
