It is no secret that no matter what season, the coaches on The Voice know how to have a good time. But it was their 2018 Halloween performance of Blake Shelton‘s hit song “Honey Bee,” that went above any performance yet.
On the streets of Los Angeles, you are bound to run into a street performer or two. There is everything from Spiderman to Jack Sparrow – Hollywood Blvd. has it all. Heck, you might even see a street performer sleeping on the job! But you’ll never see a performance like the one these coaches put on.
The coaches set up their “stage” outside the historic TLC Chinese theater. The 1920s building can be found in the heart of Hollywood right by the Walk of Fame.
The Voice coaches are pretty familiar with this spot as Adam Levine got his own star on the street in 2017. Blake was there to support him alongside his partner, Gwen Stefani.
The 2018 Voice coaches walked onto their impromptu venue to be greeted by an excited crowd. They each had a special part to sing during the song AND a character to play. They chose to each dress up as superheroes…and one very adorable villain.
Blake and Adam solidified their “bromance” by dressing up as Batman and Robin while Jennifer Hudson looked fierce in her Cat Woman suit. But the real treat was seeing a goofy Kelly Clarkson dressed up in a penguin suit – giving the DC villain a much cuter look than he has in the books.
You can watch their full performance HERE – but be prepared to laugh all day long at their ridiculous costumes.
