The Daytona 500 is not the first time that Donald Trump has intentionally made history, nor will it be his last.

Only a couple of days ago, on Sunday, February 9th, Donald Trump became the first sitting President of the United States to attend the Super Bowl. He watched the Eagles beat the Chiefs. The anticlimactic game ended with a score of 40-22.

During that game, Donald Trump was cheered by the stadium while Grammy-winning artist Taylor Swift was booed by the crowd.

Donald Trump Says The Iconic NASCAR Line

Now, it’s been rumored Donald Trump will attend the 2025 Daytona 500 on February 16, 2025.

The last time he attended the race, he not only drove the opening lap but also became the second president in history to say the iconic line, “Start your engines.”

It is not confirmed that Donald Trump will attend the NASCAR race. However, he does typically visit his private club and primary residence, Mar-a-Lago, every Presidents’ Day.

His Mar-a-Lago estate is located in Palm Beach, Florida, which coincides with the Daytona 500. This, alongside news reports suggesting he will return to the race, would make most betting men believe that the president will be attending the race.

However, only time will tell.
