It looks like the feud between country singers Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock is far from over.
Bryan and Adcock’s issues with each other first went public back in July, when Adcock called out Bryan for how he responded to a young fan online.
A teenage fan had posted a TikTok video sharing their disappointment about not getting to meet Bryan after waiting outside following a show. When Bryan saw the video circulating, he responded with comments that quickly drew backlash.
“You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello,” he replied back to the fan.
Many people felt Bryan went too far with his response. One person who had a big issue with it was Adcock, who later confronted Bryan in a post on his X account.
“If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14 year old why do people idolize you?” Adcock wrote.
“That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/ parents spent a ton of money to see you. He’s got feeling too and a you’re a “grown man” nearly 30. They’re the only reason you are around.”
Adcock also shared his feelings about Bryan during an appearance on Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast in August, saying:
“I think that Zach Bryan puts on a big mask in his day-to-day life and sometimes he can’t help but rip it off and show his true colors. “I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person.”
Zach Bryan Jumps Barbed Wire Fence To Confront Gavin Adcock
Over the weekend, both Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock appeared at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, and when the two came face to face, things began to escalate.
In a video capturing the moment, Bryan is seen exchanging heated words with Adcock from behind a barbed wire fence. Suddenly, Bryan climbs over and jumps down on the other side, where Adcock was standing.
As Byran tried to charge toward him, security quickly stepped in and held him back while Adcock backed away.
After the incident, Adcock shared a video of the altercation on his social media.
“When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown,” Adcock captioned the video.
Reactions to the fight were mixed. Some people supported Adcock for keeping the situation under control, while others questioned why he didn’t stand up to Bryan.
In a separate post, Adcock explained why he wasn’t willing to fight him at the moment.
“No artist that cares about their fans is going to fight right before their set, missing going on and disappointing fans that spent way too much money to be there,” Adcock said. “I wasn’t even mad, didn’t even have a reason to fight him.”
Zach Bryan and his team have yet to address the situation.
