12-Year-Old Powerhouse Channels Miranda Lambert And Leaves Judges SPEECHLESS

At only 12 years old, Kadie Lynn is already making a name for herself. The young Texan started performing when she was two, and has been going strong ever since. Her passion and talent for singing eventually brought her all the way to America’s Got Talent.

Lynn auditioned with a cover of country legend Merle Haggard‘s “Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Star,” and the judges were blown away by her powerful voice. They decided to send her through to the next round, during which she’d also have to fight for the approval of guest judge and country star Reba McEntire.

When Lynn walked out on stage she was clearly starstruck by McEntire, and proclaimed her love for the country icon. However, Lynn didn’t seem the least bit nervous as she moved into her song for the night, which was Miranda Lambert‘s hit song, “Mama’s Broken Heart.”

For only being 12, Lynn is already a vocal powerhouse, which she proved with her performance of Lambert’s song. She hit each note with confidence and passion, all while playing guitar at the same time.

The crowd clapped along as she sang, but were left in absolute awe when Lynn hit and held out a long note at the end of the song. It was a move that left Simon Cowell visibly impressed, and prompted McEntire to give Lynn two thumbs up.

Both Cowell and McEntire praised Lynn once she finished, with Cowell saying, “We’ve only got seven places out of 20, but I’m personally going to fight for you at the end of tonight.

McEntire echoed Cowell’s postive comments, and complimented Lynn’s stage presence, saying, “You have a stage presence that I didn’t find ’til I was in my 20s.

No surprise here…Lynn was sent through by the judges to advance to the next round of the competition. See the performance that helped her make it there in the video below!

With a voice like that, we have a feeling Lynn will go far on America’s Got Talent this season.
