It seems that country superstar Carrie Underwood just may have herself a long lost twin residing in Nashville. After a series of media outlets reported that the country artist had been in attendance at the Dixie Chicks' show in Nashville August 17, Underwood came out publicly to set the record straight on the subject.
"Weird...I don't remember doing that! I think I may have a doppleganger wandering around Nashville!" she tweeted at Cody Allen, a writer for CMT who wrote an article claiming Underwood was in attendance.
While she may not have been at Bridgestone Arena the night of the Dixie Chick's concert, Underwood will definitely be back in "Music City" September 22 for her Nashville stop on her Storyteller Tour.
Underwood began her "Storyteller Tour: Stories in the Round" in late January of this year and has since grossed $29,993,822 with almost 500,000 people in attendance. The star took a mid-tour break back in May and is set to kick it back off August 31 in Anchorage, Alaska.
You can listen to her latest single off Storyteller, "Dirty Laundry," in the video below and be sure to keep an eye for any professional Carrie impersonators.
