Isabel May Was The Star of The Yellowstone Prequel 1883
The Yellowstone world has a few prequels, and a few sequels in the works. 1883 was the first prequel, which showed the story of how the Dutton family traveled from Tennessee to Montana in the 1800s.
The cast included Tim McGraw as James Dutton, Faith Hill as Margaret Dutton, and introduced Isabel May as their eldest daughter Elsa Dutton.

May was the narrator of the series, and also narrated the following series, 1923, which followed the surviving members of her family fighting to save the ranch her father built.
Michelle Randolph Starred In The Follow Up Series 1923
The Dutton story continued in the series 1923 with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren leading the cast. They played Jacob and Cara Dutton, the brother and sister-in-law of Tim McGraw’s James Dutton, who come to Montana to raise James and Margaret’s children, John and Spencer, after they both pass away.
John had a grown son of his own in 1923 named Jack, who was in a relationship with Elizabeth Strafford, whose family owned a ranch nearby. Strafford was played by newcomer Michelle Randolph, who also stars in the Taylor Sheridan show Landman.

Although their characters never actually met, their stories intertwine.
Both Actresses Appear In New Scream 7 Trailer
The fan-favorite Scream series is returning to theaters for its seventh installment in February 2026.
Michelle Randolph appears in the opening scene of the trailer and although her time in the movie seems short, it is a significant role and it kicks off the movie!
A few seconds later, we are introduced to Isabel May’s character, who plays Sidney Prescott’s daughter. Fans of the Scream series will remember Sidney Prescott, played by Neve Campbell, as one of the original characters from the original 1996 movie.
As fans of the Yellowstone universe, it is fun to see May and Randolph in the same project, though from the looks of the trailer, their characters, once again, never meet.
