Country music’s biggest night has arrived!

The 56th CMA Awards aired on Wednesday, November 9 at 8/7c on ABC. Luke Bryan returned to host the ceremony for the second year in a row. He was joined by a new co-host, two-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning.

Lainey Wilson earned the most nominations, with a total of six. Five artists earned nods in the coveted Entertainer of the Year category, with those artists being Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen, and 2021’s winner Luke Combs.

The awards for Music Video of the Year and Musical Event of the Year were announced early on GMA. Those awards went to Cody Johnson‘s “‘Til You Can’t” and Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde‘s “Never Wanted to Be That Girl.”
