Most of the winners for the 2025 CMA Awards were announced live during the ceremony on Wednesday, November 19. The program aired at 8/7c on ABC, and was hosted by multi-nominee Lainey Wilson.

Lainey Wilson made history in multiple ways. She became only the third female artist to win Entertainer of the Year twice, following Taylor Swift and Barbara Mandrell. Additionally, she became the third female artist to win Female Vocalist of the Year in four consecutive years. Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire previously accomplished this feat. Third, her win for Album of the Year made her the second female artist to ever win the category twice, with Miranda Lambert being the other.
Brooks & Dunn‘s victory gave them 20 total career wins, making them the most-awarded artist in CMA history.
The Red Clay Strays earned their first CMA Award. They also broke Old Dominion’s seven-year run of winning Vocal Group of the Year.
Steel guitar player Paul Franklin finally won his first Musician of the Year award after being nominated 32 times prior. He’s also the most-nominated person in any one category in CMA history.
Ella Langley and Riley Green’s “you look like you love me” made history as the first track to win Single, Song, Music Video, and Musical Event of the Year. It won the first three awards this year and the latter one in 2024.
Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees at the 2025 CMA Awards!
