So what did the Dandelion tracklist reveal? Several things!

Head below for a list of four exciting insights we learned after browsing through the full listing.

1. Ella Langley’s Dandelion Has Only One Duet

Country fans always look forward to new collaborations. But those who were hoping for multiple duets on Dandelion won’t get their wish.

The tracklist revealed that only one duet is featured on the album. But we have a feeling it’s going to be a good one.

Langley’s duet partner is none other than her close friend and Dandelion co-producer Miranda Lambert. She sings with Langley on track #16, called “Butterfly Season.”

They also co-wrote the song with Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor.

2. The Dandelion Tracklist Contains A Classic Country Cover

One of the songs that appears on Dandelion is a cover of an iconic country classic. Track #12 is Langley’s spin on “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels.”

The song was written by J. D. “Jay” Miller and originally released by Kitty Wells in 1952. Many female country legends have covered the track in the years since, including Loretta Lynn, Lynn Anderson, Dolly Parton, Terri Clark, and Tammy Wynette.

Langley previously performed “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels” during a 2025 concert in Texas.

3. Ella Langley’s New Album Features An Intro And Outro

Tracks #1 and #18 on Dandelion are labeled as the intro and outro of the album. Interestingly, both tracks are a cover of the same song, the traditional folk tune “Froggy Went A Courtin’.”

“Froggy Went A Courtin’,” also known as “Frog Went a-Courting,” first appeared in the Complaynt of Scotland in 1549. The oldest known musical rendition was published in 1611 in Thomas Ravenscroft’s Melismata.

4. The Dandelion Tracklist Contains 14 Songs Written By Ella Langley

Langley co-wrote the majority of the tracks included on Dandelion. The only songs she didn’t pen were “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels,” the “Froggy Went A Courtin'” intro and outro, and track #10, “Speaking Terms.”

“Speaking Terms” was co-written by Joybeth Taylor and Helene Cronin.

Upon unveiling the tracklist, Langley wrote:

“It all starts with a song. I’m so proud of this record & so thankful for each and every songwriter, musician, producer, & member of my team that played a part in bringing this album to life.”
