Chip and Joanna Gaines enjoyed the summer of 2021 with their five kids: Drake, Duke, Ella Rose, Emmie Kay, and Crew.

One of the biggest moments of their summer was their youngest son Crew’s 3rd birthday on June 21. They threw a dinosaur-themed party for their baby boy, who seemed to love all of the decorations.

Our little boy is almost as tall as a Brachiosaurus! Three years old today—that went by way too fast!” Jo said alongside a photo she took of Crew standing next to a dinosaur balloon.

Crew and the older Gaines kids spent a lot of time in the great outdoors that summer. They climbed on straw bales, gathered flowers, and blow bubbles, among many other things!

One summer night, Jo joined her daughters Ella Rose and Emmie Kay in an outdoors gymnastics routine. While Jo nailed her cartwheel right away, she didn’t her daughters’ help in pulling off some of the other flips.

But Jo eventually nailed all of the moves, and it was impressive!

“Barefoot in the grass and busting out some old tricks tonight,” Joanna captioned the video. But at age 43, Jo acknowledged the fact that she’ll probably be pretty sore after tumbling and flipping around outside.

I’m sure I’ll be feeling this in the morning…. Thanks girls for the coaching!” she said.

Watch the video of Jo and her girls doing their flips below. Jo set the clip to “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” which was the perfect song to use!
