6-Year-Old Makes Cody Johnson An Offer That’s Hard To Refuse

The cutest Cody Johnson super-fan says he would give CoJo his four wheeler if he can sing on stage with the country music star.

Porter(6) recently sang “Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson for the talent show at his school and did a fantastic job. His mom, Kamber, posted a video of the adorable performance on Facebook with a caption that reads:

“If you got a chance take it…….. if you got a dream chase it!!!!!!

So proud of my 6 year old! He’s got a dream of singing in starched jeans, boots and a sharp cowboy hat! …”

If that sounds familiar to you it’s because that’s exactly what CoJo wears. Looks like this kid is taking serious notes.

Porter did a fantastic job singing the Cody Johnson song at the talent show, but apparently that didn’t scratch the itch.

He’s dreaming much bigger. He wants to sing on stage with the country music star. Hey, as Cody’s song says, “If you got a dream, chase it.” That’s exactly what little Porter is doing, and he’s even willing to trade one of his prized possessions—his four wheeler.

“I would take the deal with my four wheeler. If he needs a four wheeler I will give it to him…It’s about ready to get outta here.”

“So that would be your best deal?” Porter’s mom asks.

“Yep! Do it. I would do it. I would do it for sure.”

The 6-year-old tells his mom that if he got the chance to sing with Cody, he would sing one of the singer’s older songs, “Every Scar Has A Story.”

According to Kamber’s Facebook, they are surprising him with tickets to see CoJo at Cheyenne Frontier Days. Who else hopes she gets a video of Porter’s reaction?

“Well there you have it…. The boy is willing to trade his 4-wheeler to see COJO! Not Sugar Bear though.

We are thankful to have found some tickets to go see him at CFD!!!! We are NOT telling him though until….. well…. maybe the drive up to Cheyenne!

 SOOOOO if you see this boy anytime in the next three weeks, please help us keep it a secret!!!!!”
