After Years Of Waiting, “Yellowstone” Spin-Off “The Madison” Is Slated To Premiere “Soon”
on Jan 16, 2026

What We Know So Far About The Madison
Following a multi-year wait, we finally know when The Madison will premiere…sort of.
We first heard about The Madison in 2024. At that time, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Patrick J. Adams were rumored to be attached to the Yellowstone spin-off.
Out of those three, Pfeiffer’s involvement was confirmed first. She has been cast as the series’ lead character, Stacy Clyburn.

Adams and Russell officially joined the cast at a later date. Other confirmed cast members include Matthew Fox, Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, and 1923 alum Danielle Vasinova.
Beyond the occasional casting announcement, we haven’t heard much about The Madison or its premiere. We have received a summary of the show’s premise, with Variety reporting:
“[The Madison is a] heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.”
Pfeiffer’s character, Stacy, moves to Montana from New York City after her husband and brother-in-law’s deaths in a plane crash. It remains unclear how the show connects to the larger Yellowstone universe.
Paramount Shares Blink-And-You’ll-Miss-It Preview Of The Madison, Reveals Its Premiere Window
Although little has been said about The Madison, fans got some huge (and unexpected) news about the series in December. Elle Chapman, who plays Stacy’s daughter, Paige McIntosh, shared on her Instagram Story that she had just finished filming the show’s second season.
This news came as a surprise, since the first season of The Madison hasn’t even premiered yet!

Naturally, Chapman’s post left fans wondering when The Madison will premiere. We finally got some sort of an answer during the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, when Paramount+ aired a teaser of its programs slated for 2026.
The Madison was one of the programs featured in the teaser. Fans got their first look at the show in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it clip of Pfeiffer’s character petting a horse.
The teaser also shared that The Madison is slated to premiere “soon,” but didn’t reveal an exact date. Despite the non-precise confirmation, those anticipating the show’s release were relieved to hear it’s finally arriving sometime this year.
Additionally, Paramount+ shared a brief teaser of the Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler spin-off Dutton Ranch. Watch that teaser and the one for The Madison in the video below.
