The past few days have been an exciting whirlwind for the country music trio Chapel Hart.

On Tuesday (July 20), the group’s audition for Season 17 of America’s Got Talent aired. They sang their original song, “You Can Have Him, Jolene,” which was inspired by Dolly Parton‘s “Jolene.”

The AGT judges were amazed by the trio’s performance. They, along with host Terry Crews, came together to give Chapel Hart a group Golden Buzzer.

Since they received the Golden Buzzer, Chapel Hart will now move directly into an advanced stage of the competition.

Things got even more exciting when Parton responded to Chapel Hart’s performance. She said:

“What a fun new take on my song, Chapel Hart! Carl’s birthday is today so I think I’ll hang on to him, and I’m not notifying Jolene that today is his birthday…”

The trio also received a message from another country music legend, Loretta Lynn. She said:

“I love it, ladies. Now I’m wondering what you might be able to do with one of my songs!”

Since so many big things were happening to them, Chapel Hart decided to put another one of their dreams out into the world. They tweeted:

Ya know what would be the icing on this triple layer German chocolate cake of a day? If the @opry invited us to sing there!”

It didn’t take long for the Grand Ole Opry to respond. The following day, the Opry tweeted an image of a chocolate cake in the middle of its famous circle. The cake had “August 20?” piped on it in icing.

Triple layer…Opry Debut August 20th?” the Opry asked Chapel Hart in its tweet.

Of course Chapel Hart said yes! “IS THIS REAL LIFE?!?! We graciously accept…as soon as we pick our jaws up off of the floor,” they wrote on Twitter.

They also took to Instagram and Facebook to share a video responding to the Opry’s invitation. You can watch that video below.

We’re so happy for Chapel Hart and can’t wait to see them make their Opry debut!
