Amy Earnhardt Shares 1st Photo Of Isla Since Plane Crash

In just the few short days since Dale Earnhardt Jr., his wife Amy, and their baby daughter were involved in a truly terrifying plane crash – a lot has happened.

Investigators have been swarming the scene, people have been praying for this family, and the media has gone on a frenzy about the strange circumstances around the crash – and the miraculous way every single person survived.

One thing that there has been very little of is communication from Dale Jr. or his wife Amy. And that’s completely understandable.

While people worldwide were concerned about how Dale and Amy were doing in the days that passed – they truly needed time to themselves and with their loved ones. Particularly little Isla Rose.

Just yesterday, Dale Jr. broke his silence by releasing a full statement to the media expressing his immense gratitude for the support and his appreciation for life and his family with this very disturbing incident now behind them.

“Amy and I want to thank everyone who has lifted us up with phone calls, messages and prayer since last Thursday. We are truly blessed that all on board escaped with no serious injuries, including our daughter, our two pilots and our dog Gus. With respect to the investigation, we will not be speculating or discussing the cause of the accident. I am thankful for the quick response of my pilots, local law enforcement, emergency personnel and hospital staff. Lastly, Amy and I continue to be very appreciative of the privacy extended to us to process everything. It has been important to do that together and on our own time.”

Now, in her own way – Amy is speaking out, too.

Sharing a post to her Instagram page, Amy posted a sweet photo of her kissing little Isla with sunlight peaking in through the nearby windows and added a simple, yet powerful caption.

“God is good,” she said.
