Country megastar Blake Shelton is still a country boy at heart.

You have to know Shelton is thrilled his gal pal Gwen and her children love the red dirt and back roads just as much as he does.

“It’s been a lot of fun for me to be the one to get to expose them to this — out in the country,” Shelton told ET.  “They love it so much, her entire family. And when I say her family, I mean all of them. I’m talking about the kids, the mom, the dad, the brother. There’s times when we’ve had holiday gatherings, and I’m talking about 30-plus family members from her side, from my side.”

Gwen Stefani and her children, Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5, look forward to their visits to the massive Hawaiian-themed lake house in his home state of Oklahoma.

“We have so much fun,” Blake continued, jokingly saying, “I don’t think you should be able to have that much fun. It’s probably not legal in California.”

Hawaiian-Style Lakehouse

The tropical-themed home (think Hawaiian) sits on the edge of  Lake Texoma in Oklahoma. Blake chose the largest lake in Oklahoma as the front yard for his daily view and playground.

The scene looks like it’s straight out of Hawaii, according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

Blake’s new home is not too far from his 12,000-acre ranch in nearby Tishomingo, Oklahoma. This town of 3,000 doesn’t mind that its population might get a little loftier. In fact, the community looks forward to the day Shelton moves “home” and they don’t mind at all that Gwen and her children may become part of their community.

Palm Trees In Oklahoma

What would a Hawaiian theme be without palm trees? Incomplete. Truly, Blake left no detail unattended.

Because Shelton loves the tropical feel of vacationing, he decided to bring a bit of that to the heartland. While the acreage is spotted with dogwood, elm, and maybe even Bald Cypress trees, you’ll find mostly palm trees on the property.

The all-white mansion features aqua blue doors and shutters (to match Blake’s eyes?). To expand on the true tropical feel, there are three “huts” complete with thatched roofs on the side of the home.

A recent addition to the Tishomingo ranch is the flagpole Gwen gave Blake for his recent birthday. As you can tell by the smiles on their faces, there’s truly no place these two would rather be than home sweet home, hanging out lakefront with the kids.

Townsfolk Love Gwen

The local folks appear to be huge Gwen fans, especially after spotting her and Blake in matching camo outfits. The girl’s lovin’ the country, so the town folk are loving her!  Some believe that if this girl came back after the first big dose of country, this relationship could be the real thing.

What do you think of the house that Blake built?
