Some Of The Epstein Files Will Be Released Today (February 27), Says Attorney General Pam Bondi
On Wednesday night (February 26), U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the immediate release of some of the Epstein files. She said these files would be released the following day (Thursday, February 27).
Speaking on the Fox News program Jesse Watters Primetime, Bondi said:
“What you’re going to see, hopefully tomorrow, is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot of information.” She added, “But, it’s pretty sick what that man did, along with his co-defendant.”
Bondi told Watters there are over 250 alleged victims. She said she and her office want to ensure that all of the victims’ identities are protected.
Jeffrey Epstein was a financier and sexual predator. In 2008, a Florida court convicted him of procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute.
He was later arrested on July 6, 2019, on federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors in two states, Florida and New York. But he never faced those charges, as he was found dead in his jail cell on August 10, 2019.
While the medical examiner ruled Epstein died by suicide, the public has remained skeptical about his cause and manner of death.
Epstein’s longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was charged with the enticement of minors and trafficking of underage girls. She was convicted on five counts and sentenced to serve 20 years in federal prison.
President Trump Plans To Release More Classified Government Files
Three days after his inauguration on January 20, President Donald Trump signed an executive order calling for the release of classified government documents. Particularly, he ordered the release of files relating to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr.
The President established deadlines for when he wanted to be presented with “plans” for the files’ release. The 15-day deadline for presenting a plan relating to the JFK files has since passed. The President set a 45-day deadline (from January 23) for the presentation of a plan relating to the release of the RFK and MLK files.
During the review of the files, the FBI uncovered over 2,400 additional documents relating to the JFK assassination. It has not yet been announced when those files, and the others, will be released.
Stay tuned for any future news about the release of these files and the Epstein list.
