Billy Ray Cyrus and Actress Elizabeth Hurley Debuted Their Relationship On Easter
On Easter Sunday (April 20, 2025), Billy Ray Cyrus showed off his new romance with actress Elizabeth Hurley on social media.
Hurley posted a photo of the pair leaning against a wooden fence with Cyrus kissing her on the cheek while wearing green Easter bunny ears.
“Happy Easter,” the post read.
The pair met on the set of the 2022 movie Christmas In Paradise, which they starred in together alongside Kelsey Grammer.
They Made Their Red Carpet Debut In May
On May 24, the new couple attended the Orizzonti/Rosso Exhibition at Palazzo Barberini in Rome, Italy, together, where they posed for photos on the red carpet.
Harley wore a gorgeous hot pink dress with a cape and Cyrus opted for an all black ensemble with brown felt hat.
The often-reclusive Cyrus famously does not travel much, so the fact that he went overseas with Hurley says a lot!
During an interview with E! News, Hurley said their relationship was “unexpected.”
“We’re happy together. And hopefully we’ll have a great life,” she said.

It’s been widely reported that there has been a rift in the Cyrus family since Billy Ray and his ex-wife, Tish Cyrus, got a divorce. They were married for nearly 30 years and shared five kids together.
Tish went on to find love again with actor Dominic Purcell, while Billy Ray married singer-songwriter Firerose in 2023. His marriage only lasted seven months before he filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct.
In a recent interview, Miley opened up about seeing her parents as individual people rather than their parental units. This has helped her understand their choices, including their divorce.
“I think timing is everything,” Miley said. “As I’ve gotten older, I’m respecting my parents as individuals instead of as parents.”
She revealed that when her parents split up, she was able to see her mom’s side of things more, which is why she distanced herself from her dad.
“My mom really loved my dad for her whole life, and I think being married to someone in the music industry and not being a part of it is obviously really hard. And so I think I took on some of my mom’s hurt as my own because it hurt her more than it hurt me as an adult, and so I owned a lot of her pain. My mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too — I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing. I’m being an adult about it.”
She now understands that her dad also deserves to be happy, and her child self has “caught up” to realizing that.
Billy Ray supported his daughter at an event for the first time in years, and the world took notice. Miley recently released a visual album and film titled Something Beautiful. Billy Ray. Billy Ray and Elizabeth attended the London premiere on June 21st.
“Thank you @mileycyrus for having us last night at your London premiere of the brilliant Something Beautiful,” Hurley captioned an Instagram video featuring different moments she captured from the special night.
Billy Ray commented on the post, “Love you baby” with three heart emojis.
A fan chimed in, “Honestly good for her for probably being the one to try and mend his relationship with his kids finally.”
Hurley also brought her son, Damien Hurley, who sat beside Miley at the premiere. Elizabeth snapped a photo of them from behind, writing, “The babies are all grown up/”
Billy Ray commented, “What a night to remember ❤️ This is what rock n’ roll is all about… the kids are together ❤️ SO PROUD xxx”
