Billy Ray Cyrus has proposed to his girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley after one year of dating, according to reports.
Cyrus and Hurley first met in 2022 while filming the holiday movie Christmas in Paradise on the Caribbean island of Nevis. Although they shared only a few scenes, Cyrus later revealed that they immediately hit it off and had a natural chemistry.
The couple made their relationship public on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, when Hurley shared a photo on social media showing Cyrus kissing her on the cheek.
Engagement rumors first began after Hurley was spotted wearing a massive diamond ring, sparking speculation that wedding bells could be in their future.
One source told Page Six that they questioned whether the ring was simply a prop for Hurley’s upcoming project, The ’Burbs, as some speculated.
Cyrus also had fans wondering after he shared a cryptic Instagram post Thursday (Oct. 15), featuring a ring emoji. The post caught the attention of Hurley’s son, Damian, who responded with a celebratory emoji of his own.
This would mark Cyrus’ fourth marriage if the two do tie the knot. The singer was previously married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991.
He later wed Tish Cyrus in 1993. The former couple shared three children, including pop star Miley Cyrus, and divorced in 2023.
In October 2023, Cyrus married Australian singer Firerose. However, the marriage was short-lived, and the pair finalized their divorce in 2024.
