Playing to an amped-up audience and a rowdy crowd, the boys of Montgomery Gentry surprised everyone when they welcomed 10-year-old Chantz to the stage…
Both Chantz and his best friend joined Eddie and Troy to help them sing one of the best renditions of “My Town” we’ve ever seen!
Although they appear tough, these two country superstars have huge hearts, and bringing Chantz on stage was one of the things that proves just how great they are!
Chantz, unfortunately, had been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. His biggest wish was to sing alongside his favorite band: Montgomery Gentry.
When the Make-A-Wish Foundation told young Chantz that he was able to have any wish come true, of course he wished for a chance to meet his two favorite singers! According to All Access Music Group, the foundation flew the youngster to Atlanta for one of their concerts in late 2008!
Eddie and Troy got to meet Chantz backstage for a little one-on-one and an autograph before bringing his dream to life!
Welcoming him to the stage and introducing him to the crowd, Eddie Montgomery gave him his signature black cowboy hat and shouted, “This is a star!”
The energetic crowd roared with applause for their great performance and on the way back to his seat, Chantz was stopped for lots of high-fives and a few photos!
