Northerners Try Moonshine For The First Time, And Their Reactions Are Hilarious!

Moonshine comes in all different forms, shapes and sizes. 

The Moonshine you can buy in a store is usually infused with different kinds of fruits, or have a flavoring that makes it not too strong. 

Real Moonshine, the stuff people used to make illegally, is actually extremely strong and can be as high as 90% alcohol. It is typically made with corn mash as the main ingredient.

These Buzzfeed employees decided it would be a fantastic idea to try Moonshine for the first time ever and film themselves doing so, and the outcome is hilarious! 

First, they try 100 proof Ole Smoky Moonshine Cherries and are shocked that Moonshine came in cherry form! There are different reactions.

One man thought it was “the worst thing [he’s] ever tasted“. Another just wanted to know what else he could soak in Moonshine.

Next, they take shots of 70 proof Midnight Moon Apple Pie Moonshine, which warmed one of the taste testers up in “all the right ways”.

40 proof Ole Smoky Strawberry Moonshine was given a taste, which everyone liked. One woman even dubbed it her “drink”!

They then tried 100 proof Ole Smoky White Lightnin’ and this is where things got interesting!!

Most of the girls could not handle White Lightnin’, some even reached for their soda to wash it down.

Finally, they tasted 180 proof homemade Moonshine. Needless to say, each person was a little nervous. 

Some reactions were, “I just drank gasoline!” and “Is this legal?!“

By the end of the video, most of the taste testers were drunk and everyone had hilarious reactions!
