Conway Twitty’s Daughter Keeps His Legacy Alive With ‘Linda On My Mind’

Talent definitely runs in the Twitty family.

Conway Twitty‘s oldest daughter, Kathy, followed in her famous father’s footsteps with a career in music.

Like her siblings, she often covered her dad’s songs and every time we hear them, we know he is smiling down from Heaven.

One of our favorite covers by Kathy is “Linda On My Mind“. Her take on such a classic song is brave and it paid off!

She sings with such passion, and it’s absolutely incredible! 

It has been hailed as one of the top 20 country songs, and we definitely agree!

The song, which is about a man who is married to a woman, but in love with another, is a heartbreaking story, but beautifully told.

“Linda On My Mind” was released in January of 1975 and was Twitty’s twelfth No. 1 on the U.S. country singles chart.

Kathy doesn’t sing with Conway’s signature growl, but she puts a unique spin to this classic song.

The video is complete with pictures of Kathy Twitty, and the resemblance to her iconic father is uncanny!
