Things got pretty scary for Miranda Lambert on Monday, March 7.

As the country star was performing her big hits at RodeoHouson, she was interrupted by a man who jumped the fence trying to chase her off stage.

KHOU reported that rodeo officials were forced to tackle a man to the ground, all while Lambert was rushed off the stage and onto her tour bus. The man was the put under arrest.

The news channel also reported that rodeo officials made a statement on Tuesday morning, which read,

We confirm that yes there was an arrest for criminal trespassing, due to someone entering the arena. We make announcements that no spectators are allowed in the arena except for chute seat holders during the concert.

We’re sure the rest of the audience was less than enthused that the concert had to be cut short.

But as the lights came on, concert-goers were able to capture the wild scene. See photos below.

How scary! We’re happy that Lambert is OK!
