Any person would change the world if given the chance. Duck Dynasty‘s Sadie Robertson has been blessed to be given a platform where she is able to do just that.
Since Duck Dynasty’s beginning, we have watched Sadie grow into a beautiful young woman. We’ve seen her tackle her fears on Dancing with the Stars, spread her love of God during her Live Original Live tour, and team up with Roma Boots to help “give poverty the boot”.
She helped design her own rain boot line, and with each purchase, a pair of rain boots went to a child in need. She and her family actually hand delivered the boots to children over the holidays.
On February 4th, Sadie met a woman named Lizzie Velazquez who has a rare condition called Lipodystrophy.
Velazquez’s disease prevents her from gaining weight and at 27-years-old, she weighs 65 pounds. She is blind in one eye and has heart problems, but she is a motivational speaker and has documented her story in the full-length documentary A Brave heart: The Lizzie Velasquez story.
They met at Upfront Summit, an event focusing on the tech industry, and formed a fast bond. Velasquez is currently in the midst of changing the world, and Sadie wants to be a part of it.

It’s been a month, and Sadie still wants to change the world. She has been more active on her YouTube Channel, and posts videos about self-confidence, and being unique and proud of it.
Tuesday on Twitter, she announced that she had some big things coming our way soon with the caption, “Wanna join me in changing the world? Big news coming soon“.

What could it be?! A partnership with Lizzie? Is she the new brand ambassador to a noble cause?
