Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are one of the most successful and recognizable duos in country music today. Known for their own mega hits and swoon-worthy duets with one another, McGraw and Hill have made themselves household names.
But in addition to being major country superstars, McGraw and Hill are also parents to three beautiful daughters, Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. The couple has worked to raise their girls out of the spotlight, and as it turns out, they never even told them they had famous parents!
Of course, their daughters eventually found out, but it wasn't something that was ever addressed, said McGraw during a Q&A at the Country Radio Seminar.
"Our kids know it's there," he said. "They've always been around it. It's just not anything that we've ever really discussed or dealt with. We haven't talked to our kids about us being famous, even when they were little. That's what we try to make it – not an issue."
Now that McGraw and Hill's daughters are growing up, and their oldest has gone off to college, they feel their fame hasn't harmed them in any way.
"We certainly don't feel like [fame] has been a hindrance to our kids," McGraw said, before laughing. "If they grow up and write a book, we might find out differently."
We'd say that McGraw and Hill did a wonderful job at raising their girls! Listen to McGraw sing about his love for his daughters in his song "My Little Girl" in the video below.
