Miranda Lambert is one of the biggest stars in country music, and has a big heart to match. She’s known for her many charitable efforts, particularly involving her MuttNation Foundation, which provides aid to pets across the country.
During a concert in 2014, Lambert went out of her way to make the night for one special fan, who had to go through quite the struggle to be there.
Young Kamryn was only five years old at the time of the concert, and battled a serious illness for some time prior. The illness was so severe that little Kamryn almost didn’t make it. Although doctors never did figure out what was wrong, she was able to make a full recovery and attend Lambert’s concert.
While Lambert was performing her song “All Kinds of Kinds,” Kamryn happened to capture her attention with a sign she held up, reading, “Survivor kind, because I’m filled with gunpowder, lead, and God’s grace. Please meet me Miranda!“
Of course, Lambert knew that she had to grant Kamryn’s wish, and she motioned for her to be sent up to join her on stage. Lambert knelt down beside her and finished singing the song, and even gave Kamryn the microphone at one point so she could sing along as well.
Toward the end of the song, you can tell how moved Lambert was by the whole experience, as she gave Kamryn a sweet hug and kiss on the cheek before she passed her back into the crowd.
Kamryn’s mother, Kolby, found the video another concertgoer posted of the moment and expressed her thankfulness to Lambert, writing “I will never be able to put into words what I felt when she pulled my daughter on stage. What a blessing and what a gift.“

We’re sure Lambert gave Kamryn a night that she will never forget!
