Find Out The REAL Reason Sadie Robertson Took Her Cousin To Prom

Last week, Us Weekly Magazine reported that Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson was no longer in a relationship with her boyfriend of two years, Blake Coward.

According to a Robertson family representative, the young couple broke up “weeks ago”, although they just recently made it public.

Neither Coward nor Robertson have commented on the situation and the cause of the breakup is still unknown.

Coward is a freshman baseball player at Harding University in Arkansas, which is a four-hour drive from Robertson’s hometown of West Monroe, Louisiana.

A high school senior, Robertson still had one main event on her mind and being single wasn’t going to stop her from attending. We’re talking about her Senior Prom!

Prom is a right of passage for high schoolers and it would have been a shame for her to miss it because of the break up.

Robertson and her cousin, Cole, went to the dance together and looked like they had so much fun! Cole is Missy and Jase’s youngest son and is also a high school senior.

Photos circulated the Internet of them all dressed up ready for prom. Sadie’s mom, Korie, posted a sweet photo of them with the caption, “Feels like yesterday that these two were building forts in the yard. Last night was their senior prom!

But it was Missy who gave us some insight as to why the cousins attended the dance together, other than being best friends!

How do you cut out the drama surrounding prom night? Take your cousin, of course!” she wrote on Instagram.

Cutting out the drama may seem difficult, but for the Robertsons, it’s an easy fix! Family fixes everything!

We’re glad Sadie has the support system she does and a wonderful cousin she can count on.
