In early August, 2014, famed survival expert and filmmaker Les Stroud gave the people of Sturgis, South Dakota a full blast of his wicked talent at the reigns of a harmonica – and who better to do it with than one of country music’s top performing duos – Montgomery Gentry!

The three performed during a concert at Easyriders Saloon just days before the town was flooded with thousands for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and boy did all the folks there enjoy it!

Troy Gentry shouts a big welcome out to Stroud over the microphone and he jumps out with a harmonica in hand right before he nails a huge solo that sends the crowd roaring!

Stround is best known for his television series, Survivorman, and has also accrued many credits as writer, producer, director, and filmmaker. In addition to his many accomplishments in television and documentaries, Stroud made a name for himself as an exceptional blues harmonica player and gained much attention for it during his time on Survivorman

Those touted skills are no joke and Stroud showed the town of Sturgis his amazing knack on the harmonica, with Eddie Montgomery and Troy helping out on guitar and vocals!

Watch this awesome clip of Stroud’s time with these country superstars in the video below and prepare to be blown away!
