In 2016, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman attended the Tribeca Film Festival where Kidman’s latest film The Family Fang was debuting.

The couple took time to speak to reporters on the red carpet before the festival and addressed rumors that had been going around about them renewing their wedding vows in Australia. These rumors had been circulating since 2013!

When asked about the rumor, Kidman finally put an end to it and said that they won’t be renewing their vows. She gave a pretty darn good reason as to why.

“We don’t need to,” the actress said. “The vows are strong, we keep them.”

Urban added, “They’re daily in the sense of action, as opposed to being recited. I like to think of showing those on a daily basis.”

Kidman agreed with her husband, saying that they do show their vows on a daily basis to each other.

We fly all over the world [to see one another]. But not out of obligation, just because I like him,” Kidman said with a laugh. Urban added that they “want” to see each other often, despite their busy schedules. Urban also said that he’s not sure where being get these rumors from!

The two looked very much in love as they walked the red carpet. They revealed one of their secrets to their lasting marriage. They love each other, and also like each other! Seems pretty easy!

Kidman and Urban have been married since June 25, 2006 after meeting in 2005 at an event called G’Day LA.
