The world-famous and record-breaking annual concert festival features a wide variety of headliners, supporting acts, and this year was no different.
Filled with Pop, EDM, and R&B, Coachella 2016 had one performance that stood out starkly against the huge lineup of other musicians – Chris Stapleton.
The man heralded for bringing country “back to its roots” took the stage with an incredibly simple set up and featured his stunning wife, Morgane singing one of his biggest hits.
Stapleton first rose to prominence as a talented songwriter, penning hits for artists like Adele, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Josh Turner, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Trace Adkins, and more. Following songwriting, he began work on an album that has earned him an almost endless list of accolades.
Taking home two Grammy Awards, three CMA Awards, and five ACM Awards, Stapleton’s record, Traveller, has become one of the biggest hits in the modern era of country music.
During his set at Coachella, Stapleton unleashed that magical album on the swarms of people, giving them a performance of “Traveller” that nobody would easily forget.
The intro itself will stick with you. That’s how good this is.
