Adam Wakefield comes from the North, but has the South in his blood and nowhere is that more apparent than his latest performance on The Voice

During the 10th season of the popular singing competition, the singer has issued performances of songs like “Seven Spanish Angels”, “Bring It On Home”, and “Can’t You See”, but when he dragged a piano on stage for a wow-filled rendition of “Soulshine” he unleashed a wave that made anyone watching an instant fan. 

The 1994 Allman Brothers Band hit was never released as a single, but still gained immense popularity – especially amongst the southern rock and country rock communities. The track has been covered many times by other artists, and even has made appearances on American Idol
