The name EmiSunshine is one that country fans have quickly grown familiar with. That’s because the young singer from East Tennessee was born with immense musical talent.

EmiSunshine has a voice that takes you back to the classic era of country and folk music.

According to her website, when EmiSunshine was ten months old she was able to hum the melodies to songs, which was long before she learned to talk. As the years passed she learned how to write her own songs and play multiple instruments.

By age seven, EmiSunshine had already recorded her first two albums, but her talent remained basically hidden until one video changed everything. 

A Young EmiSunshine Yodels Her Heart Out

In 2014, someone filmed EmiSunshine singing Jimmie Rodgers‘ “Blue Yodel No. 6” at a flea market. Then, the video of EmisSunshine singing went viral. In turn, it introduced thousands of people to the little girl’s unbelievable talent.

The main reason why EmiSunshine’s flea market performance was so captivating is because she tackled the yodeling portion with ease. At such a young age, EmiSunshine already had complete control of her voice.

EmiSunshine’s confidence and passion for music was crystal clear in the clip from her flea market performance, which was another reason she gained so much attention after it was posted.

Since EmiSunshine’s yodeling clip went viral, she has performed on TODAY, competed on American Idol, and even made her Grand Ole Opry debut. She maintains an active touring schedule of about 150 shows a year. Additionally, she has over 449,000 fans on Facebook.
