Miranda Lambert Surprises Audience With Rockin’ Performance They Never Expected

Stage Right Secrets/Jacklyn Krol

When Kenny Chesney kicked off his Spread The Love Tour with Miranda Lambert and Sam Hunt, fans couldn’t couldn’t have been more thrilled.

Fans of Lambert know that when she takes the stage, you never know what you’re gonna get, but you know it’s gonna be good!

For the tour, she worked in a very unique cover of a lesser-known Danny O’Keefe song. The singer-songwriter was known for his hits such as “Good Time Charlie’s Got the Blues”, “The Road” and the environmental movement anthem “Well Well Well”.

Lambert showcased O’Keefe’s lighthearted tune, “Covered Wagon”, about an “old soul trapped in the modern era“.

Fans at opening night of the tour seemed to love hearing Lambert cover this Southern Rock tune, as did we! We hope she continues covering this song on tour!

She took a step to the side during the musical break to let her band shine. Her lead guitarist stepped to center stage and delivered an awesome solo, with Lambert looking on in admiration.

Watch her rockin’ performance below!
