Billy Ray Cyrus’ most popular album is certified 9x Platinum, spent 17 weeks at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, and was the top-selling album of 1992.
He released four songs from the album as singles, three of which peaked in the Top Ten.
His most notable single not only from that album, but of his career is “Achy Breaky Heart“. Most people write him off in general, but y’all are forgetting he had four Top 40 songs from that album!
“She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” was one of the three which made it into the Top Ten. The song was the fourth single off his debut album, Some Gave All. It debuted at No. 57 on the Billboard Country Singles chart and peaked at No. 6, giving him his third Top 10!
The music video shows a live performance intermixed with images of his portrayed character’s former girlfriend, who left him for another man because he treated her so badly. The lyrics are bittersweet as he is heartbroken they are no longer together, but delighted she is now in a healthy, happy relationship.
Although this video is a blast from the past, Billy Ray Cyrus proves his talent is as outstanding as ever. He’s releasing a new album, and it looks like it may just be his best one yet! The album, title Thin Line, will be available on September 9 and features some familiar names.
