ACCA Awards Sweep Audience Off Their Feet With Star-Studded Tribute ‘For The Girls’

Pairing up three of country music’s leading ladies, the American Country Countdown Awards show was not prepared for what happened next.
Giving a nod to a female super-hit from the early-2000s, hitmakers Jennifer Nettles, Cam, and – of course – Martina McBride open the show with a new rendition of “This One’s For The Girls”.
Before the performance, Martina gushed with excitement about the performance.
“I always look forward to singing this song because it resonates with so many different people of all different ages,” she said in a press release. “With Jennifer and Cam joining me for the first time, the song will be even more fun and I’m so happy we’ll be performing this together.”
Nettles started off the song walking through the audience toward the stage singing the opening lines as people cheered them on.
Next, Cam appeared on the far corner of the stage singing in two-part harmony with Nettles and just as the chorus began, Martina burst onto the scene – making it a true three part harmony y’all don’t get to see very often!
