Team Blake Breakout Artist Leaves Thousands Awestruck With Celine Dion Cover

On last week’s live shows of The Voice, Paxton Ingram more than earned a spot into the Top 10 with his powerful performance of the contemporary gospel song “Break Every Chain.” Since people are still buzzing about that performance, Ingram felt this week was the perfect time to take a risk.

In the past, Ingram has performed mostly upbeat, pop-related songs that also allowed him to show off his incredible dance skills. But this time, he chose to tone things down a bit by performing a beloved song by an equally beloved artist “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” by Celine Dion.

Ingram knew that singing one of Dion’s songs would be a major challenge, but his coach, Blake Shelton, had faith that he would be able to take it on…and that’s exactly what he did.

Whether he’s dancing or not, Ingram has an undeniable stage presence, something which he showcased perfectly in his performance of “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.” Even at the beginning, when he was simply standing center stage in front of the microphone, his voice and facial expressions managed to draw everyone in to his performance in an instant.

Ingram’s stunning performance had his coach singing along to every word, and Shelton couldn’t contain his excitement at the end of the song. He said that Ingram was completely “in the zone” and mentioned how it’s contestants like him that continue to inspire him to coach The Voice.

You can check out Ingram’s beautiful performance in the video below. After that, we sure hope that he’ll make his way into the Top 9 so we can hear him sing again!
