Toby Keith’s Granddaughter May Be Ready To Follow In His Footsteps

Nearly seven months ago, Toby Keith‘s youngest daughter, Krystal, gave birth to a baby girl named Hensley Jack. Little Hensley is the first child for Krystal and her husband, Andrew Sandubrae, and is Toby’s third and youngest grandchild. 

Like her father, Krystal is also a country music singer. She made her musical debut back in 2004 when she appeared with him on stage during the CMA Awards to perform “Mockingbird.” The performance went down as one of the most memorable in CMA history, and led Krystal to a successful career of her own.

In a new photo Krystal shared of her baby girl, it seems that Hensley is already prepared to step into her grandfather and mother’s shoes. The photo shows Hensley wearing a big pair of pink earphones as she reaches forward to grab hold of a microphone. 

Hensley seemed completely fascinated with the microphone in front of her, making Krystal wonder if she has the Keith family musical bug.

If Hensley decides to chase a career in country music some day, she’ll certainly have two great teachers to help show her the ropes. But for now, Hensley can enjoy being her mom’s studio partner, since Krystal is back to working on her career after taking some time off to spend time with her.

Krystal told NewsOK that her next album may be a “lullaby album” after all of the time she spent with Hensley this year, and we think that would be lovely to hear. No matter what type of songs Krystal sings, we’re sure they’ll be stunning, just like her single “Daddy Dance With Me,” which you can listen to below.
