When we found out Billy Ray Cyrus was returning to TV in his very own CMT show, we didn’t know what to expect!

In the new show, Still The King, we’ve found out that he is playing a character nicknamed “Burnin’ Vernon”, who is a washed up country singer and makes a living being an Elvis Presley impersonator.

He runs into trouble and is sent to jail when he finds out he has a 15-year-old daughter he never knew about. Trying to get back on his feet and make enough money to pay his child support, Vernon makes some questionable choices and apparently some enemies!

In this behind-the-scenes clip from Still The King, we see the famous faces making cameo appearances, and some may surprise you!

Country singer Darius Rucker makes an appearance as Jesus: long-haired wig, robes and all! We also see Las Vegas entertainer Wayne Newton punch Vernon in the face for a reason we will hopefully find out this summer!

Another crazy cameo is with CHiPs star Erik Estrada, who apparently has a history with Vernon! They run into each other at a grocery store and before much is said, Estrada punches Vernon and beats him up!

You get on your feet, Vernon Brown!” he says to Cyrus’ character. “You can run from a CHiP, but you can’t hide from a CHiP!

Be sure to watch the trailer for Still The King here and tune in June 12th!
