Fiddlin’ Carson Peters Performs Original Song At The Opry, And The Crowd Can’t Get Enough!

For most country artists, one of the most monumental moments of their entire career is when they are invited to perform at the Grand Ole Opry for the first time. After years of hard work, stepping on that legendary stage for the first time is an overwhelming and exciting feeling.

Like many artists, Carson Peters worked for years to be able to step foot on the Opry stage. But one major difference between him and other artists is the fact that Peters is only 11 years old.

As a matter of fact, Peters has been performing at the Opry for years already. Ever since he started playing the fiddle when he was three, Peters captivated anyone who watched him play. He has a talent beyond his years, and continues to develop it further as he grows.

In addition to being a talented fiddler, Peters is also a songwriter. During one of his latest appearances at the Opry, Peters chose to perform an original song, which he wrote just the year before, called “Oak Creek.”

The entire song is purely instrumental, and showcases Peters and each of the three members of his talented backing band. As the song progresses, it continues to increase in pace, but Peters tackles the challenge with absolute ease.

Another remarkable aspect of Peters’ performance is the confidence he exhibits on stage. Performing at the Opry is something that makes even seasoned country veterans nervous, but Peters remains cool and collected.

At the end, Peters finishes the song with a flourish and the crowd roars to life. It seems like their applause will never end, and rightfully so, because Peters is certainly deserving of it.
