13-Year-Old Carrie Underwood Sings Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”

Pre-Idol Carrie Underwood paid tribute to Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” on her cover album Broken Wings released when the country superstar was only 13 years old.
“Crazy” is the eighth track on the album alongside the Dixie Chicks’ “Goodbye Earl” and Lee Ann Womak’s “I Hope You Dance.” Broken Wings is comprised of 14 major hits by various different female country powerhouses.
Even at such a young age, Carrie shows off her impressive vocal range which eventually went on to win her the fourth season of American Idol and numerous music awards including seven Grammys, seventeen Billboard Music Awards, and twelve Academy of Country Music Awards.
“Crazy” is a love ballad composed by Willie Nelson that was made famous by the Patsy Cline’s cover which hit No.2 on Billboard’s Hot Country singles chart and No.9 on Billboard’s all genre Hot 100 chart.
